Flatland Meets Spaceland
Plywood, fabric, plastic, paint, grass chlorophyll.
Tryptich each part measures 9 x 12 x 17 cm, 2016
Flatland Meets Spaceland responds to ideas of a geometrical romance, the subject of Edwin Abbott’s novella. It references the differing perspectives of two communities and considers the confusion that may entail. The separation process of chromatography, combined with manmade materials highlights a sense of disorientation and ‘disconnect’ in relation to the ‘other’.
Produced for the Scaffold Gallery exhibition 'You Fall in a Field...'
